Day 1 (Saturday): Munich – St. Ulrich am Pillersee - 266 km / 165 miles
From the Bavarian capital Munich we drive on beautiful country roads, past the Bavarian Sea, the Chiemsee to the Mozart City Salzburg, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Fantastic roads take us to the Rossfeld Panorama Road and from there to the Kehlsteinhaus above Berchtesgaden. The Kehlsteinhaus served as a representative building for the Nazi regime and was part of the Obersalzberg Führer's restricted area.
We continue to Berchtesgaden, past King Watzmann and the fantastic mountain scenery of the Berchtesgaden Alps, to St. Ulrich am Pillersee, our destination for today.

Day 1 alternativ: Mieming (Innsbruck) - St. Ulrich am Pillersee - 208 km / 129 miles
After picking up your bike at Edelweiss Bike Travel we drive on beautiful country roads to the Bavarian part in Germany.
First we will visit Mittenwald, one of the most beautiful villages in Upper Bavaria.
We then follow the young Isar, along a fantastic toll road, to the Sylvenstein reservoir.
Shortly afterwards, we leave Bavaria again and cross the border back into Austria. We cruise along Lake Achensee down into the Inn Valley and small roads take us through typical Tyrolean villages to Sankt Ulrich am Pillersee, our destination for today.
On request and if we are on time, we can visit the Eagle's Nest near Berchtesgaden. The Kehlsteinhaus served as a representative building for the Nazi regime and was part of the Obersalzberg Führer's restricted area.
We continue to Berchtesgaden, past King Watzmann and the fantastic mountain scenery of the Berchtesgaden Alps, to St. Ulrich am Pillersee, our destination for today.

Day 2 (Sunday): St. UIrich am Pillersee - Großglockner Road - Neuhaus Castle - 212 km / 131 miles
A must for every motorcyclist is to ride the Grossglockner High Alpine Road once in their motorbike life.
The sensational pass road spreads its 48 kilometres over 36 hairpin bends and rewards with a view of Austria's highest peak, at 3,798 metres.
Via Heiligenblut and Lienz, we enter the Pustertal valley and the high-altitude road of the same name. This takes us to just before the Italian border.
That's where we will have our first coffee in Italy.
Past the 3 Zinnen and through Bruneck we reach Gais in the Ahrntal and up to the unique castle / Schloss Neuhaus, our home for the next few days.

Day 3 (Monday): "Strada del Sole" (Pustertal Sun Road) - Bressanone - Alpe di Siusi - Lake Carezza - 264 km
The Pustertaler Sonnenstraße leads us through lonely villages to the city of Brixen, one of the oldest cities in Tyroland therefore we visit the beautiful old town.
We follow the country road towards Bolzano and leave it in the direction of Lake Carezza and the pass. From there we have a sensational view of theCatinaccioand the Lattemar.
We take small roads to the Alpe di Siusi with its picturesque villages, roads and landscapes around the Sciliar.
The fun continues via San Pietro and Antermoia, back to the castle.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Sellaronda - 174 km
A short day of riding, which has it all and takes us to the most beautiful passes (Gardena, Sella and Pordoi passes) that South Tyrol and the Alps have to offer - the Sellaronda.
This is the dolomites at its best.
And if we still haven't had enough of the passes at the end, we'll take the Furkelpass with us.

Day 5 (Wednesday): Staller Sattel, Dolomites War Museum & Pragser Wildsee - 279 km
Passing the biathlon stronghold of Antholz and Lake Antholz, we wait at the traffic lights for the start clearance for the Staller Sattel. A beautiful pass road that can only be ridden in one direction.
Back on the Austrian side, we cruise through the Defreggental valley with its centuries-old farms and villages.
We leave Lienz behind us and head for the Plöckenpass and the open-air museum "Dolomitenkrieg" ( War in the Dolomites).
Past Monte Zocolan and the Three Peaks Nature Park, we head for the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Pragser Wildsee".

Day 6 (Thursday): Cortina d'Ampezzo - Passo di Giau*** - Passo di Falzarego - Cinque Torri - 189 km
At least as spectacular as the Sellaronda, but less crowded.
The fashionable ski resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics (as well as 2032).
Roger Moore fought his opponents in the James Bond film "On a Deadly Mission" in the ice stadium, on the ski jump and the bobsleigh run.
The Cinque Torri are hard to beat for views. For our last evening at the castle, a sensational barbecue experience awaits us!

Day 7 (Friday): Burg - Sterzing - Jaufenpass - Timmelsjoch - Fernpass - Füssen - 265 km
Once again, we set off on the "Strada del Sole" and continue towards Sterzing. The Jaufen Pass brings us into the Passeier Valley, the home of the Tyrolean folk hero "Andreas Hofer". Especially the South Tyrolean side of the Timmelsjoch is one of the most beautiful pass roads in the Alps. At the top, the TOP Mountain Motorcycle Museum awaits us. From there we continue via Sölden, Mieming and the Fernpass to Füssen.

Day 8 (Saturday): Füssen - Neuschwanstein Castle - Ammersee - Lake Starnberg - Freising (airport) - 175 km.
Passing King Ludwig II's fairytale castle, we head into the Bavarian foothills of the Alps.
Ammersee, Andechs Monastery and Lake Starnberg are on our way, bringing us ever closer to Munich Airport, our final destination.
